ICE-O-PHONE (W/FEEDBACK) is a from a series of sound experiments investigating the resonate properties of ice.

The ICE-O-PHONE is an invention of original design which utilizes the natural resonance of ice in recording the external audio environment.

The process of the ice transforming into liquid and gas results in pops, hisses and crackling. There is also a steady hiss from the exchange of hot and cold air.

As the ice thins feedback tones are produced.

The ICE-O-Phone was first heard on Listening With Asperger's Ears which was released in June 20, 2010 as a limited edition, handcrafted and numbered double disc set on soniCanta (Currently sold out).
